Halo! It is another season for the tech enthusiasts and the Techies in Delta State University, Abraka and her environs to gather and discuss technology. The second edition of DELSU Tech Invasion which is being organized by Hamplus Technologies International has been fixed and scheduled to hold on 4th and 5th December, 2024. This is an upgrade from the maiden edition that was held for a day.
Technology being the driving force of today’s world, it has become imperative for people especially the youths to positively use tech and be adept at technology. From simple content creation to complex tasks, technology is involved, hence, one cannot do without technology in the world today especially if the best results are the dream.
The first edition of DELSU Tech Invasion which was also held in the University environment was themed as Python: The Language of Tech. This programme had over 100 attendees with representatives from UNICEF and also Codeup Technologies. The speakers spoke extensively on different aspects of tech such as embedding tech in photography, using graphics to scaling in tech and many others. This year’s teaching will also teach on non-programming topics and programming topics as well.
DELSU Tech Invasion (DTI) is both for students and for non students and in this year’s edition talks will be on learning, innovating and earning using technology. The focus of this year is on using Python for academics such that the attendees will be able to use Python programming language for data and spreadsheet manipulations, data visualization and data analytics. Day one will centre on tech talks that can transform the mindset of the attendees while day two will be hands-on sessions, teaching the practical usage of Python programming language.
DTI is absolutely free, thanks to the sponsors/partners that are enabling this impact journey. Despite being free, it is expected that all attendees will register to enable proper communication before and after the event between the organizer and the attendees.
